The "Skull and Sword" t-shirt by Powell Peralta is an iconic piece of skateboarding history. The graphic, designed by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson in 1979, represents the first signature deck graphic produced by Powell-Peralta for pro skater Rodriguez.

The t-shirt features a large graphic on the back and one on the left chest, both screen printed. It is made of soft 100% cotton jersey with a weight of 156 g/m² (5.5 oz). The fit is standard for adults, with double-needle stitched sleeves and bottom hem, taped neck and shoulders, and a 7/8" rib collar. The logo is screen printed and the inside label is directly screen printed onto the shirt.
